Hello, and welcome to ArmpitGridiron.com.  For years I have heard that Windsor Ontario is the "armpit" of Canada  I'm not sure exactly why Windsor and Essex County is referenced as such; maybe because of the geographical shape of where we are located in Canada..?  which is where the name was generated

 My sole purpose for creating this website is to expose the Windsor and Essex County Football Players to a National Audience across North America!  My goal is to provide a database for football coaches and schools to access, follow and to expose our players.  It is in my opinion, that Windsor Ontario develops and produces THE BEST FOOTBALL PLAYERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY..!  We have been continuously sending players to play at the University level, Canadian Football League and to the National Football League for quite some time..  Which tells me one thing is for sure: We have incredible players coming through our system because we have INCREDIBLE COACHES in our system!!  

I have had the opportunity to spend the last two seasons away from the sidelines (which has been a blessing in disguise) and play a role behind the scenes of play as Operations Manager of Windsor Stadium and P.A Annoucer .  High above the crowd sits a pressbox.  Inside this room sits an incredible amount of football knowledge.  Often coaches check in and out, referees are present, league officials are assisting, Timekeeper is operating the time of play and a P.A Announcer is delivering a message.  This has given me the opportunity to meet some pretty amazing men in our community who dedicate much of their time and regularly make sacrifices to be a part of Our Football Community.

I would like to give you some background of who I am.  I played Youth Football here in Windsor with the Windsor Minor Football Association and moved on to play 3 years of high school football, as well as, one season with the AKO Fratmen of the Canadian Jr. Football League.  I also played in a local organized flag football league for 17 years! During this time I have accumulated 15 years of coaching experience at the high school level and at the minor football league level.  I served as a Defensive Backs Coach, Linebackers Coach, Defensive Coordinator, Wide Receivers Coach, Offensive Cordinator and Head Coach. Adding to this I have served as a board member/ executive board member responsible for Director of Sponsorship and Vice-president with the Windsor Essex Football League.  I also worked as an intern-journalist with CanadaFootballChat.com with great success of having 100% of my Player Recruitment Profile articles not only published but more importantly reaching the top level of articles read, while exposing the players to an audience North American wide.

I currently sit on the Steering Committee Board with the AKO Fraternity with the focus of the Windsor Stadium Restoration Project..!  (The AKO Fraternity has taken over the daily operations of Windsor Stadium for the next 30 years).  You can also find me up in the pressbox working as the P.A. Announcer for all high school Jr. and Sr. football games, as well as, all minor league football games played at the Windsor Stadium and at the University of Windsor Stadium.
